Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis; K.43 ac 45 WaA 359 l block. Made in late 1945. Another weapon rescued from the ashes.
All metal components have matching serial numbers. Since the Vet polished the surfaces down, it was a candidate to become a reenactor's rifle.
The walnut stock was custom made for this rifle, completed at the Apfeltor Waffenfabrik.
It sports a re-blued and polished exterior,
and a Durofol handguard.
It also is sporting the MG-13 25 round magazine adapted to fit the G.43. These magazines were actually used in full auto trials and few actually made it to the front for use. After conversion, it will feed 17 rounds!
This rifle has been blank adapted and serves it's new master from Florida well. Approx. 45.000 ac45 made in WW II.
